DC Comics ‘Injustice’ Calls Kashmir ‘Disputed Territory’, Faces Social Media Backlash

DC Comics is facing angry backlash in India, after its new animated film ‘Injustice’ has called Kashmir a ‘disputed’ territory. The viral clip shared on social media platforms shows Superman and Wonder Woman destroying military equipment in Kashmir and then declare it as an “arms-free zone”.

The scene created furore in Indian social media circles, with people demanding its immediate ban. Some users say it is a propaganda funded by third country to malign India.

“Westerners are now using animated movies to propagate the Anti India propaganda. These cheap stunts won’t work. Kashmir is our integral part & we won’t tolerate these offending attempts to malign us. @DCComics. Delete disputed scenes!”, wrote a twitter user.
