Thirty-four people were killed in Thailand in a mass shooting at a day-care centre, police said on Thursday. The attacker, a a former policeman killed his wife and child before shooting himself dead.

According to the reports, the victims include 22 children as young as 2 years old. Local media reports that there were around 30 children at the daycare when the incident took place.
