Omicron | India’s Tally Rises To 781, Delhi Leading Contributor

India’s Omicron variant tally rose to 781 on Wednesday from 653 a day before, revealed the date released by the Union Health Ministry.

The most number of Omicron infections have been reported from Delhi (238), followed by Maharashtra (167) and Gujarat (73).

India’s Active caseload currently stands at 77,002 with a recovery rate of 98.40%, highest since March 2020.

Overall in the last 24 hours, Indian recorded 9,195 new Covid 19 cases.

Daily positivity rate (0.79%) less than 2% for last 86 days
