Afghanistan | Twin Kabul Airport Blasts Kills 60; ISIS Claims Responsibility

The Pentagon on Thursday confirmed a large explosion outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, hours after the United States military warned of an imminent terror threat. According to the local media, over 60 civilians and 13 U.S service members were killed.

Meanwhile, ISIS-K ( Islamic State-Khorasan) has claimed the responsibility for the airport attack and said one of its suicide bombers targeted “translators and collaborators with the American army”. U.S. officials also blamed the group.
